CEO & Co-Founder
Ada holds a PhD in Economics from the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana, with part of her doctoral research completed as a visiting scholar at Columbia University in New York. Her background spans game theory, behavioral economics, corporate governance, and productivity measurement, fields that gave her a deep understanding of how organizations think, decide, and evolve. This is precisely what shapes how she approaches AI. Not as a technology to be implemented, but as something that changes the way people and organizations work.
Before founding Kolibri Labs, she worked as a teaching assistant at the School of Economics and Business and was later part of the Silicon Gardens venture capital team, where she saw firsthand how strategy and technology either come together to create real value or fall apart when they don't. She continues as a lecturer for the Technology Management module within the IMB program.
Ada is also a certified coach with expertise in coaching psychology, weaving together technological, strategic, and psychological perspectives in everything she does.
CTO & Co-Founder
Matic brings over 15 years of experience in the software industry to Kolibri Labs. As a seasoned tech entrepreneur, he has co-founded multiple software companies and led projects for multinational clients including BMW, Mini, and Httpool. One of his most notable achievements is building an app that reached over 15 million monthly active users — a scale that very few software products ever reach.
In recent years, Matic has been deeply focused on the intersection of AI and software development, exploring how emerging capabilities can be applied to real and significant challenges. At Kolibri Labs, he leads the engineering direction with a clear belief that the most powerful AI systems are those that work alongside people, enhancing how they think, decide, and create lasting impact.
CSO & Co-Founder
Dean is a serial entrepreneur with a strong track record in building software solutions for enterprise clients. He has co-founded three startups, each recognized for their innovative approach to solving real business problems across complex markets.
His first startup was acquired by a company later purchased by Heineken. His second venture secured a strategic partnership and investment from Generali Holding. His third received global approval from one of the world's largest furniture retailers. Each of these achievements reflects something deeper than commercial success, an ability to understand what an organization truly needs, build trust over time, and create something that lasts. At Kolibri Labs, Dean leads commercial strategy with that same approach: building partnerships where AI can turn real potential into outcomes that matter.
